🤝 Playing DMZ as a Team of 4

Tokyo · Germany · Novosibirsk · Chelyabinsk - DMZ squad cap is 3

← Back to manual
How it works: DMZ won't let you queue as 4. You run as two 2-player squads, both land in the same match, then merge in-game with Assimilation. To land together, the two squad leaders ("anchors") connect Lagofast to the same node code (e.g. P4542) in the same region (Germany by default, or any shared region).
Region: Germany (or another shared region)

Germany is the natural default - the Germany friend is there, and the two Russian friends already matchmake on EU by default. Only you (Tokyo) route there via Lagofast.

But any region works as long as all four use the same one. Off-peak you can try a quieter region (fewer players = fewer parallel matches = easier to land in the same instance). The rule is unchanged: everyone picks the same region, and the two anchors pick the same node code there.

Lagofast MW4 Germany nodes
Lagofast node list for MW4. Tokyo→Germany runs ~152-165ms. Each node has a code like P4542.
🔑 The one rule that matters: both anchors pick the same node code (e.g. both use P4542). Pick one showing Idle status and low ping. "Both pick Germany" is not enough - it must be the same node.

The anchor (Lagofast-routed player) must be the squad leader. The rider joins by normal party invite.
